Logo Competition

The Fellowship of Australian Writers New South Wales Inc is pleased to announce the winner of our logo competition is Aeron Napper of Greystanes, NSW.

We asked our designers to create a logo that would take FAW NSW into the future. Our old logo was looking a little tired after its sterling duty for so many years.

To be honest we did not know what we wanted. We asked for something that would represent the organisation and our dedication to the craft of writing and supporting our members in their endeavours.

Aeron's design was simple, clean and worked for us. His logo takes in the old, the feathering of the quill, but also the pages of a book. In his design document he also said that the image represented the fluidity of writing.

There was a unanimous decision that this was the right logo for us and so we will be rolling it up in 2012 with great excitement. We were delighted to have the opportunity to present Aeron with his prize at the Fellowship Awards Luncheon in Sydney.

Thank you to all who entered this has been an interesting exercise and has come to the perfect conclusion and thank you Aeron!
